OFF SNOW REVIEW:
The
Giro Bugaboo is one of the most versatile kid's
helmets on the market! It will fit a range of head
sizes (from 49 to 54 cm) on children from around
2 to 6 years old. It's stylish graphics are a hit
among children of all ages. The Bugaboo has virtually
no venting, but that shouldn't be too much of a
problem with the younger crowd. The ear flaps are
flexible, so Mom and Dad can pull them apart a bit
more when they put the helmet on and not pull their
child's ears down. The Roc-Loc system allows you
to change the helmets size in about 2 seconds so
it can grow with your child without compromising
fit. The helmet is lined with fleece and the chin
strap is padded to keep young chins from getting
a webbing rash. To round out the features, the Bugaboo
has a great goggle strap on the back that will keep
your child's goggles on their head, whether they
want them there or not. The only negative thing
about the Bugaboo might be the rivets that hold
the ear flaps and the goggle strap on. If they are
heavily abused and over stressed, they could separate
from the helmet. Overall, we highly recommend this
helmet for small children!
